AZ Auto Insurance Coverage
Collision Insurance – Pays for damage caused to your vehicle in an auto accident. Collision coverage usually comes with a deductible. The deductible is the amount of money you pay toward repairs before your collision coverage begins paying. The higher the deductible you’re willing to pay, the lower your auto insurance premium. Although it’s not legally required by The State of Arizona to carry collision coverage, most banks will likely require this coverage if your vehicle is financed or leased.
Comprehensive Insurance – Covers damage to your car in some way other than a collision. Some examples of comprehensive coverage would include: vehicle theft, vandalized or catches fire. In addition, flood and windshield damage are events that can provide coverage under comprehensive auto insurance. Although it’s not legally required by The State of Arizona, most banks will likely require comprehensive coverage if your vehicle is financed or leased.
